RTD Considering Notice Of Default Over N-Line Delays

RTD is considering issuing a notice of default against the contractor building the long-delayed N-Line. The transit agency says Regional Rail Partners has had continued problems meeting project milestones. The most recent delays mean the commuter rail line between downtown Denver and Thornton won't open until August. It was supposed to be operational in 2018. A meeting is scheduled for next week between RTD and the contractor to outline when the remaining work will be done.
