Thanksgiving meals for those in need thanks to Boulder Non-profit

The non-profit Feet Forward will serve a Thanksgiving meal to over 200 people at the Boulder Bandshell on Thanksgiving Day. This is the second year the non-profit is serving the community.

"Everyone should be able to celebrate a holiday and have a place to be able to do that," said Jennifer Livovich, Founder of Feet Forward.

The Boulder-based non-profit is peer-led and built on the foundation of lived-experience with homelessness aiming to provide housing pathways and resources.

"I think the fact that some of us used to be homeless in the community makes providing a holiday meal even more important," Livovich said.

The non-profit is looking for donations of blankets and coats which can be dropped off at the Boulder Bandshell any Tuesday from 2-2:30pm, or visit feetforward.org for more details.
