The curious case of the self-described 'Box Demon,' who visited a homeowner in Pennsylvania, has been solved by police, though the matter remains rather mysterious. The weird character made headlines earlier this week following the emergence of doorbell camera footage showing the eerie individual's late-night stop at a residence in the community of North York. After authorities put out a bulletin cautioning residents about the 'suspicious person,' many speculated about the identity and motives of the stranger who donned a paper plate mask and left an empty box on the doorstep of the home. Although police now say the residents have nothing to fear with regard to the 'Box Demon,' their announcement has left far more questions than answers.
