Netflix Unveils New Teaser For 'Breaking Bad' Movie 'El Camino': Watch

The first visual sneak peak of the new Breaking Bad film is here!

On Saturday (August 24), Netflix released the first teaser for their upcoming movie, El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie, which picks up where the AMC television series ended six years ago. According to the New York Times, Breaking Bad creator and showrunner Vince Gilligan wrote and helmed the project, which will see Aaron Paul returning as series regular, meth cook Jesse Pinkman.

Billed as a "gripping thriller," the preview for the highly-anticipated sequel shows the return of Skinny Pete, who informs fans that Jesse is on the run from law enforcement. Per Netflix's official synopsis, the film — slated to premiere on the streaming service on October 11 — follows Pinkman hitting the road in an El Camino after breaking free from his captors. "In the wake of his dramatic escape from captivity," the summary reads, "Jesse must come to terms with his past in order to forge some kind of future."

There's still no word on whether Bryan Cranston will reprise his role as Walter White in the upcoming Netflix film, however, Paul has been particularly excited to get back to his harrowing character.

“[Gilligan] mentioned that he had an idea of where to take it from here, and he wanted to hear my thoughts on it," Paul hinted in an interview two years ago about honoring the show's 10th anniversary. "I quickly told Vince that I would follow him into a fire.”
