CDOT has issued a travel advisory for the I-70 mountain corridor for Sunday and Monday of the President's Day weekend.
A snowstorm will move into the high country just as many people may be in the mountains to enjoy some of the best skiing in years . Without any snow, the holiday weekend is always a challenge on I-70. Last year, 174,000 vehicles wen through the Eisenhower and Johnson Tunnels during the President's Day weekend. CDOT says travelers should be prepared for adverse road conditions and heavy traffic .
